Stephen Joseph is an associate attorney practicing in the area of real estate and land use, representing developers in their evaluation and acquisition of investment property, as well as municipal land use applications. He regularly appears before land use boards and historic preservation commissions in order to obtain site plan approvals and variances.
Stephen obtained his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 2017. During law school, Stephen clerked for a leading financial services company in the real estate investments division and for a Hudson County law firm. He was the Articles Editor of Brooklyn Law School’s Journal of Law and Policy.
While attending Brooklyn Law School, Stephen also interned for the Honorable William J. Martini in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, as well as for the Veteran Advocacy Project of the Urban Justice Center in New York, representing clients in appealing the denial of veterans’ benefits.
Prior to joining The Cherami Law Firm, Stephen was a transactional real estate associate at a Hoboken based law firm.
